At Strong Current Stables, every precaution has been taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our resident equines. From large ventilated stalls to a generous turnout schedule in carefully structured grass turnout paddocks, no detail has been overlooked. If the horses are happy, we're happy!
Full Board Only-$800/month per horse

Daily turnout on grass (Automatic waterers in paddocks)

Owner lives on site and has access to cameras that show all barn areas including tack room and inside each stall

Choosing to place your horse in full board and training at Strong Current Stables means you have complete access to everything your horse needs to keep them fit, healthy, and ready to horseshow as often as you would like. We believe in an approach that considers the whole horse and carefully overlooks each piece of equipment, the horse's diet, turnout, their dental, farrier, deworming, and vaccination schedules as well as the typical riding, lunging, and lessoning. There are no additional fees for giving supplements, giving medications, trimming and mane pulling before a show (body clipping is additional), bandaging, or holding for the vet or farrier. Lessons and training rides are interchangeable when you select "Full Board and Training", keeping your horse in an all-important routine.
At Strong Current Stables we do not believe in the "quick fix" but instead we use a system founded in patience, clear signals from human to horse, and repetition over time. We can use this to work on the biggest problems as well as the smallest ones. We also assist in the buying and selling of horses on a case by case basis. For bigger safety problems you can expect to see plenty of ground sessions before we decide it is time to saddle up. Please also understand that although they try their best with every horse, the staff at Strong Current Stables reserves the right to decline to work with a horse further at any time due to personal safety.
